2020 Annual Meeting
Every year, Beltrami Electric Cooperative conducts its members' meeting for the purpose of electing directors, passing upon reports covering the previous fiscal year, and transacting such other business as may come before the meeting.
Notification of the annual members' meeting will be published in the Northern Lights at least two (2) weeks before the date of the meeting.
Note: In light of the Beltrami County Agricultural Association postponing the 2020 Beltrami County Fair, Beltrami Electric’s board of directors has decided to hold a small official business meeting at its headquarters facility on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, beginning at 5pm. While we were looking forward to conducting our annual meeting in conjunction with the Beltrami County Fair, we understand and support their decision.
For the safety of our members and employees due to COVID-19 and safety concerns regarding social distancing, this year's annual meeting will be held for the limited purpose of conducting essential official cooperative business. Methods to participate remotely are available. Your vote for candidates to serve on the board of directors and approval of the meeting minutes can be completed using the mailed ballot or online. There will not be a meal, door prizes or giveaways this year.
Members may attend in person and bring their ballot to the meeting, but know the format has changed in response to the current situation. We look forward to a more engaged format in 2021!
2020 Election and Voting Information
Due to COVID-19,the 2019 Annual Meeting Minutes are being presented on the ballot for approval. The 2019 Annual Meeting Minutes were printed in the 2019 Annual Report mailed to all members of the cooperative, or may be viewed below for approval on the 2020 Election Ballot.
